What baby items can I rent on your platform?

You can list all kinds of items. If you think your item doesn’t fit into any category, let us know and we’ll add a category for you.

Can I put my items up for rent?

Yes, you can create an account and list the items yourself. You are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the items after each reantal.

We also provide an option where we take care of all the management of the rentals: “We take care of everything”, including storage, listing and cleaning the items.

What is “We take care of everything”?

We take care of everything is a service we provide to help owners of the items to rent on Gira e Volta. All you need to do is to send us the items and we will store them, take professional pictures, list them on the platform, receive back the items after a rental and clean them, making them ready for the next rental. Can I try on the items?

That will depend on the owner of the items.
However, all the items we manage are available to look and try on our adress. Therefore, if you’re interested in any of “our” items, call us or send us a message on the “Contact us” page and we’ll arrange the best time for you to come and try on and collect our items.

Who is responsible to pay shipping cost?

The shipping cost is divided between the owner and the renter. The owner should pay the shipping cost when sending the prodcuts to the renter. This price should already be covered on the rental price. On the other hand, the renter should pay the shipping cost for the returning of the items.
You can decide to meet in person, if possible and in that case no one would need to pay for shipping cost.

Should I pay on Gira e Volta even if the deliver is in person?

Yes. Using Gira e Volta for the whole rental process including payment is the safest option for everyone involved. It is the only way Gira e Volta is able to help both owners and renters with anything that may happen during the rental.

Does the price include cleaning?

Yes, the prices shown already include all fees, including a cleaning fee.

Will there be any additional charge?

Each item is advertised at its rental price, which includes all fees. Be advised that in addition, there might be a deposit charge (set by the owner) which will be returned at the end of the rental if the item is delivered in the same condition as it was rented.

Does Gira e Volta charge any fees?

We only charge to the owners of items. We charge a fee of 0,25€ + 7,5% already included on the listing price to cover our costs and ensure the safety of all involved.

On the “We take care of everything” service, we charge a fee of 40% after cleaning and shipping costs, if applicable. For example, if an item rents for 20€, and considering a cleaning cost of 3€ and a shipping cost of 2€, the owner will receive 9€ and Gira e Volta will receive 6€.
